Four DFA EEG Groups meet together in Germany in April
Four EEG Groups with app. 40 pig managers from Eastern Europe, Finland and Spain have decided to meet together in Bremen, Germany 27-29 April. The program is made in corporation with JYGA and Triple-A and will include presentations and farm visits on intelligent feeding of lactating and gestation sows including young gilts Pig Feeding Systems and Equipment by JYGA Technologies as well as presentation on ZnO free weaning by Triple-A

The nearly 30 participants in the Study Trip took home many memorable experiences. Both from the encounter with the culture and with the hosts at the agricultural - and food companies that were part of the seven-day trip. The program included visits to three states around New Delhi.
See a comprehensive summary of the study trip here.

22 managers in pig production had a fruitful and inspiring three-day meeting on 20–23 October in Denmark.
The group included managers from Eastern European agricultural companies and three from agricultural companies in Spain. The program included experience exchange and participation in the Danish Pig Congress on 21–22 October.
This was a great opportunity to keep up to date on the latest news in the industry and to network with professionals and old friends in the sector.
All in all, a very fruitful event with a lot of insights, knowledge sharing and an expanded network among participants.
The group members decided to meet in Bremen, Germany in spring 2026.

In September, EEG Group 20 met in the Netherlands with Schippers as host. They got an impression of the many facilities that are included in their show farm. The group consists of pig managers from Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine. Morten Rasmussen, Agroeast is the coordinator.

16 Crop Managers from arable farms in Romania, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Poland visited Agritechnica 2025. Spirits were high, and the networking strong. Participants gained inspiration from the biggest agriculture exhibition in the world.
The three-day meeting ended with a visit to a classic “Genossenschaft” farm near Magdeburg. The farm had 700 milking cows and approx. 2,000 ha. There were interesting talks about structure and challenges in today’s European and German farming.
Read the coordinator Ole Schou`s resumé from the meeting.

11 managers from four Danish-owned farms in Ukraine will complete the first module of the training at the end of January. The course began with a physical three-day meeting at Dalum Agricultural College in Denmark at the end of September. This meeting was followed up by virtual weekly meetings.
The participants have shown great interest in the Disc Profile analysis and understanding of management tools in general. We have reached a point in the course that in a few sessions the participants have completely stopped talking about “pig”. Instead, we have worked with action and optimization plans based on the human resources to be involved.
There is a good dynamic between the participants from the four farms. And it is clear, that the familiarity is growing from time to time.
See more info about the training program, which DFA offers in collaboration with Dalum Agricultural College in Odense, Denmark.
