A: We had already been working with farms that later became part of DFA, building grain facilities for them. So, when the organization was established, it felt natural to support and engage with the association from the start.

A: The annual meetings and networking events have been invaluable. The exchange of experiences, insights, and opportunities has strengthened our industry knowledge and business relationships.

A: Through DFA, we have better understood the investors and their highly skilled teams. This has given us valuable insights into the evolving needs of large-scale farming operations.

Q: What was your main challenge in 2024?
A: Navigating agriculture’s response to climate agreements was a key challenge. However, these regulations also pushed us to innovate and develop more sustainable solutions, enhancing our competitiveness in the industry.

Q: How do you envision the future of agriculture and what role do you see DFA playing?
A: Agriculture will continue to evolve rapidly, and adaptability will be essential. DFA plays a crucial role in bringing together skilled professionals across borders, fostering collaboration at the core of primary agriculture, not just at the organizational level.

Q: Outside of work, what's a passion or hobby that not many people know about?
A: Probably a common theme among this group, family time, a deep interest in farming, staying active, and occasionally, a bit of hunting.

Q: If you could recommend a holiday destination to fellow members what would that be?
A: Southern Italy. It’s a perfect getaway, beautiful landscapes, authentic local experiences, warm people, and, of course, incredible food!
