DFA's Canada Study Trip focuses on Conservation Agriculture and no-till farming — one of the most talked-about and least-visited frontiers in large-scale crop production. We visit two farms per day, covering both the agronomy and the real logistics of making no-till work at serious scale.
The route: We fly into Winnipeg, pick up cars, and drive west across the Canadian prairies — stopping at a 10,000-hectare pig farm in Roblin, multiple large-scale crop operations, a Hutterian colony (Homeland Meats), a DLF seed research station in DeBolt, and CKP Farms near Taber — ending with a flight out of Edmonton. Roughly 2,000 km of Canada's most productive agricultural land.
