Today we meet Agnieszka Dorawa, Manager Continuous Improvement Department at Goodvalley
Let's get to know each other!
With more than 22 years at Goodvalley, Agnieszka Dorawa has been closely connected to the production side of the business. Today, she leads Continuous Improvement initiatives with a strong focus on people, engagement, and practical Lean implementation in agriculture.
“I have been working in Goodvalley for over 22 years and throughout this time I have always been closely involved in the production part of the company. I try to support both the company’s management as well as its employees by creating connections that strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation. I am always ready to take on challenges, including unexpected changes.
During the years I have been responsible for continuous improvement, my own perspective and work organization have changed from a Push to a Pull approach. Communication and visual management play a crucial role for me, both can make everyone’s job easier and more enjoyable. I believe employee engagement in improvement processes is one of the greatest values. The people working in production have extensive knowledge and experience in their field. All we need to do is use those assets to become successful.
I joined DFA to get to know different perspectives on Lean and continuous improvement in agriculture. I am always interested in exchanging experiences and gathering new knowledge about Lean solutions. Thanks to DFA, especially during our regular meetings, I have had the opportunity to do exactly that.
For me, the biggest value is the possibility to meet in groups. During these visits and workshops, I can see how Lean culture works in practice when we visit different factories and farms. These trips are also a great opportunity to get to know different people and learn from their experiences.
DFA to me is a group of specialists, experts, and most importantly, practitioners, who meet to exchange experiences, share best practices, and discuss the challenges we face in our everyday work. It would be very valuable for me to continue seeing and learning about the different problem-solving methods that other DFA members are using.
Outside of my work, I am involved in social support activities, working with a foundation that helps gifted children living in small villages. I also enjoy Nordic walking and spending time walking around the beautiful lake near where I live.”
Thank you, Agnieszka, for sharing your experience and perspective with the DFA community.
